Jamie Wick and Liza Smith are returning from Mexico and Colombia where they provided protective accompaniment to threatened human rights groups and advocates as part of a team with Peace Brigades International. Adhering to PBI’s norms of nonviolence, nonpartisanship, and nonintervention, Liza and Jamie helped establish a safe environment for local activists to carry out their work on human rights, peace, and justice issues.
